Yippee!!! I got my new MFT stamps in the mail today, and I only ordered them Thursday night!!! So, of course, I had to make a card with one of my new sets. I love the Rain or Shine, it is so cute and so versatile. I really wanted to use the lady and dachsund, but I wanted to make a quick (and mail friendly) get well card that could be used for guys or ladies, so I went with those cute polka dot rain boots!
I stamped the boots 4 times on a piece of whisper white cs in black stazon. I colored them in with prismacolor pencils, mineral spirits, and blending stumps. I cut them out and attached them to the whisper white panel with mini pop dots. The boot panel is layered on soft sky and wild wasabi cs. I stamped the umbrella in ruby red, colored the dots with a prismacolor pencil, cut it out, and attached it over the boot panel. The bg is soft sky and I stamped it with the raindrops in soft sky. I stamped the sentiment with wild wasabi and added the wasabi ribbon. Inside I stamped Get Well Soon in wild wasabi.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set and can't wait to make more fun cards with it! Thanks so much for looking and I hope you like my Get Well Boots!
