I cased this from a friend/teacher of mine. She had cased it from someplace on the web...
The tree is made of triangles backed with copper metallic paper. The side panel is thin scrapbooking cork with a torn edge. The open edge has punched circles in random manner (I need to get better at random) and a copper strip behind it. Velvet bow on the top to complete!

Oooh, what a nice use of the cork. Now that my tiles are all done--I have a lot of cork paper left over. Great idea, and I can't wait to CASE it too! I love the metallic paper behind your tree, and I think you did a terrific job with the metallic. You just didn't have someone sitting there saying 1, 3, 3, 2 . . . *wink* just pickin' on ya! Kel
