This is a bridal shower invitation I created with the Paris in the Springtime Set. The wording was done on the computer. The verse is:
Clark proposed and Amy said "Yes", The date has been chosen, as has the dress, Before the bride-to-be takes that walk down the aisle, Let's shower her with gifts to start her married life in style

Great card Love the layout and colors that you chose!! I also noticed that you had a few other cards in your gallery that are tall and slim like this one. Would you mind sharing what the measurements of this card are? Did you have to hand-make the envelopes to send the invite to all the guests, or did you buy them? I am getting ready to make invites for a friend's daughter and really like this look. Thanks so much in advance for your help ~Maria
This is so cute. I have decided to use this as the invitation for my best friends shower. I have ordered the supplies but was wondering about the measurements and envelope ideas. Would you share these with me so I can get started? Thanks!

Sorry I haven't replied sooner! When I do tall cards I actually cut the card stock the opposite of the normal way and do it so that the end result is 8/5" tall (the width of a normal sheet) and then 3.25" wide (which if you are doing a fold over card is 7.5"). You end up with "leftover" from the sheet of paper, but I usually use that to stamp on for any things I attach.
The cards/invitations I make in this size fit perfectly in a regular (#10) letter envelope (one of the attractive things about this size). So you can just get them at Office Depot, Target, etc. I hope this information helps, and I promise to check my gallery more often!
thank you so much for taking the time to get back to our question I really appreciate it. It is so great to hear that I won't have to make the envelopes or search around for a random size!! I really love this style of invite - it should stand out in anybody's stack of mail. thanks again ~maria
