 | | I made this a few months ago for a party that a friend and I hosted for an amazing charity organization beadforlife, PLEASE check it out, it's been on Oprah!
I used the So Many Sayings greeting and an inked up pencil eraser for the beads, then a marker for in between. Just improvise for a necklace and go every which way, and bring it inside the card, makes it look like you have a reall necklace looped over the corner!! I sold the cards for $1 each and all the money collected I spent on more beads! (and used to extras to send to the people who bought as a thank you for supporting the charity)
The beads are absolutely gorgeous handmade from PAPER (perfect for us crafters!)by refugee artisans in Uganda and all the money goes back to them. they are inexpensive and make beautiful, meaningful gifts. Please considering hosting one of these events for your friends, there are no hostess benefits but knowing you are changing people's lives, the best of benefit of all!! |
