I took a bunch of scrap paper and rolled it up into the glass ornaments. I found this to be very soothing for some reason, and it gave me something relatively productive to do while I was at a breastfeeding & work class this week!

i love this idea and actually sat down today and tried one with a sheet of scrap paper i had on hand here, so easy to do! Thanks for sharing yours! I will definately be making more, just got some new scrap papers in the mail today, cant wait to make more!

I think the bulbs are 2 1/2" in diameter. I bought them at Target, I think. I roll the strips pretty tightly, and some of them do come unrolled (see the middle row, middle ornament as an example). A couple of times if I want to get more rolls in the ornament, I'll use old fashioned elmer's glue to hold it together. I didn't do that very often, but sometimes I just wanted to get rid of the scraps that I had. I cut the scrap paper into 1/2" strips.
