My inspiration comes from the Current card catalogÂ’s Homespun series. IÂ’ve ordered from them but somehow I got on their mailing list and the inspiration if free!
-Images are colored with Prismacolor pencils and Mona Lisa mineral spirits.
-The sparkly snow is created with Scribbles 3D paint, sprinkle on glitter and heat until it starts to bubble. IÂ’ve never read this as a technique but I thought IÂ’d try it and see if it worked, looks okay to me! If it has a name you can let me know.
-Using my metal tip and Glitter Art Adhesive I touch each snowflake on the upper panel and placed tiny dots on the lower panel then poured on the glitter.
-The poinsettia is two punched flowers that I place on a folded paper towel for a cushion and used the embossing stylus to create leaf lines then did a roll around the center with the larger ball of the stylus to create dimension. It curls by itself when you do the rolling motion. Then I ink distressed it. The center is 1/16” circles punched and glued to the card (this works fast if you use a straight pin and tacky glue. Then put a dot of the glitter adhesive on each punch out and sprinkle on the glitter. Glue to the card.

OMG, this is absolutely adorable too! I have GOT to get back into the knack of doing challenges. Perhaps these two are just the inspiration I need! TFS!
