 | | I just want to wish all my precious Jewish friends a Happy Hanukkah.
I only had this one tiny Menorah stamp and I wanted to make a Hanukkah card that reflected a little bit of the meaning behind the holiday. I was reading that the Hebrew letters on the dreidel represent the words "A Great Miracle Happened There". It is maybe a little funny that I misread it at first and thought it was "A great miracle happened here.." and that is the computer-generated background I used. So..this is probably not exactly right but it was my first try at a Hanukkah card and I really enjoyed doing something different today. I really appreciate the history and the meaning of Hannukkah even though I am not Jewish. |
