Can I share something else that was SO exciting for me?!?! I learned to solder! Whooo hoooo! It's a skill I have been dreaming of for some time.
Supplies:
-Spanish Script Backgrounder by Cornish Heritage Farms
-flower from Silhouette Blooms I stamp set by Kim Hughes for CHF
-Eggplant and Wild Plum Adirondack Alcohol Ink by Ranger
-Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger
-white glossy paper
-Ink Applicator Tool and Felt by Ranger
-1x3 inch glass (2 pieces) by Ranger
-copper foil tape, lead-free solder, soldering tool, flux, and clamps by Simply Swank - all of these are available together in this kit
Project Instructions:
1. Apply both colors of Alcohol ink the size of a pea, to the felt pad attached to the inking tool.
2. Pounce the ink over one piece of glass. Allow to dry.
3. Ink flower image with Archival Ink and allow to dry for a few seconds.
4. With a dry paper towel, buff the area you just stamped clean. The alcohol ink will wipe off where the flower was stamped.
5. Stamp Script on glossy paper with Jet Black Archival ink and allow to dry. Trim paper to the size of the glass.
6. Sandwhich the paper between the second piece of glass.
7. Solder the piece as shown! LOL This is impossible for me to write instructions on, but I suggest if you want to learn, to purchase Lisa Bluhm's fabulous DVD.
