At least according to a radio program DH and I heard while we were out driving two weekends ago. The radio hosts said each year different Christmas tree colors are 'IN' and to be the height of fashion this year means a black Christmas tree with silver and red adornment. . . yup, black. I immediately thought "yuck!" but couldn't get it out of my head and wanted to see what it would look like. So here you go. No, I won't be sending these out this year but wondered if you could make a black tree even halfway attractive. Tell me where you stand on this fashion trend.

Well, I wouldn't have a black x-mas tree in my house, but I'd love getting a card like this! It is beautiful and quite striking. I like colors that are not the norm for the holidays. Great embossing, too! TFS!

I think it's awesome...on paper!! Great job!
Don't know how it would look IRL in someone's living room or family room! But maybe if it was decorated festively with the red/silver it would look cool!

I love your card!!!!! I don't know if I could handle a BLACK tree. Maybe red silver and black decorations, since we already do red white and silver (candy cane theme).

Well, I like it. It is very elegant. Maybe that guy knew what he was talking about?!
