I made this card for my sister using a Martha Stewart flourished card base. Top left and bottom right corners were pierced with the SU Mat Pack, and the green base was stamped with Stampendous's Agapanthus blossom in Versamark.
The white top layer had too much contrast with the rest of the card when I left it plain, so I toned it down by stamping the diagonal crosshatch from Looks Like Spring across it in Milled Lavender Ranger Distress Ink. Sentiment was stamped from a Michaels dollar stamp in Chestnut Roan chalk ink, the yellow flowers were punched from a fancy paint chip from Lowe's and then attached to the white layer with two mini and one medium pink crystal brad. I drew the brown border freehand using a Creative Memories memory pen.
The white layer was matted on tan generic cardstock with a fine border, and then onto Bazzill Java textured cardstock with a wider border to add a little drama (tho my sister's no drama queen!).
Thanks for looking!
