The challenge is to use metallic papers in our card creation. I started with a red metallic base and ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Fiskars leather template.
The blue is actually a book cover I picked up when I first started making cards and it is cool stuff that needs to be used up so this challenge was perfect. The silver border with it is just two 1/16” strips cut and glued to the card to keep the bulk down.
The stars are gold metallic which I put thru three different Cuttlebug folders, Swirls, Snowflakes and one of the mini folders sets named Winter. I positioned it on the folder and taped it down with blue painters tape so it wouldnÂ’t shift and ran it thru.
The small stars are a Fiskars punch (same size as Stampin UpÂ’s punch) and the two large stars are from a template drawn and cut out with scissors.
I then added the blue gems and clear round and star gems using Diamond Glaze.
Fiskars mini pinking scissors were used to go around the small oval.
I made two of these cards but the red didnÂ’t cooperate with the camera, it has heat embossed stars in place of gems.

Those stars and that blue paper pack a lot of watts!! A real dazzler, Rox! Like all the different embossing on the stars--very cool (or should I say HOT)!
