It is Monday again (the week's are just flying by aren't they!). So of course it is time for another challenge with my dear & wacky CCEE friends on SCS.
This week our challenge was a supply challenge, Charlene sent us all the following supplies:
1. 6 x 6 Memory Keepers designer Paper
2. Thank you charm
3. 3 white punched stars
4. 1 button
5. Stampin' Up's night of Navy grosgrain Ribbon
I keep remembering to take a photo of the supplies sent to us AFTER I have cut them all up and created my card ... arghhhhhhhhh!
Anyway Charlene also sent us some instructions that we had to follow for this challenge. As November is the month of Thanksgiving in the USA, we were to create a thank-you pocket card. We could make any type of pocket card we wanted to, but she included the link to Beate's Pocket Card tutorial. We had to use at least one piece or all of the DP, the thank you charm, the ribbon and either the button or one or more of the punched stars. We could change the color of the ribbon if we really wanted to as long as we did use ribbon.
Our thank-you pocket cards are to be mailed to one of the SCS challenge hostesses and to let them know why we are thankful to them! I thought this was a really great idea as they all do such a fantastic job each week providing us with new fun challenges! So thank you to ALL the SCS challenge hostesses! Each of us will be sending our pocket cards to a different hostess ......... mine will be going to Beth Silaika who hosts the Featured Stamper challenge ....... I think you all know that this is one of my fav challenges on SCS
It is hard to tell on these photos ... I used the weave BG from CHF on the red flap of the pocket. The penquin on the front is stamped onto a white oval nestabilities and layered onto navy and red scalloped oval shapes.
I used the same DP as I used in the front for the inside tag, adhering my star punchies to this paper. The penguins stamped just above the DP and then the dot border was stamped to each side of the tag. The red tab is attach to the white card using the snow brad.
Recipe:
Stamps: Winter Blast - My Favorite Things; Faux Ribbon Set - Papertrey Ink; Weave BG - Cornish Heritage Farms; Verse - Hero Arts
Papers: Real Red & Night of Navy - SU; White; Memory makers DP
Other: Black Ink; Real Red & Night of Navy SU Ink; Tab Punch; Oval Nestabilities; Snowflake Brad; Star Punch; Night of Navy Grosgrain Ribbon; Thank You Charm; Foam Tape; White Gel Pen

Frances, I can't stop looking at this! There's so many neat elements on this one!! It's great that these are going to our challenge hostesses. I just started doing the challenges, but it didn't take long to realize they do an amazing job. Your card is sure to be well-received, it's a wonderful card!
