I love this. That Martha always comes up with neat ideas. You did a great job. They are beautiful. Guess I have to go see what else Martha has for this holiday season. TFS

I checked her website and didn't find it either! It was a freebie handout at Michaels. I have to run now but I'll put together a description and photos soon. Thanks for asking (and I LOVE humming birds).

Back again. Ok, I couldn't find it on her website either, but you take twelve squares (I used 1 1/2 inch ones) and manually shape them into cones and glue them with tacky glue. I punched a two inch circle of cardstock, located the center of it, and glued the cones down on it, all the way around. For these ornaments I put them all with the openings facing up, although you can alternate them for a slightly different design. Once they were all secured, I painted the insides with modge podge and sprinkled the glitter inside. Then I just decorated something to put on the centers. I needed to use a fair amount of foam tape to raise up the center so that the decoration would lay the way I wanted it to. For this ornament I punched a circle of brushed gold cardstock, then used the 5 petal punch on glorious green and real red, edging each one with a Krylon gold leafing pen. I punched the small star flower from brushed gold and put a small gold brad through all the layers to hold them together before mounting. For the other ornament I punched a real red circle, a glorious green scallop with a 1/16 inch circle punch in each scallop, and edged these with the gold leafing pen, mounted a snowflake (Martha Stewart punch) in real red, and attached them all with a red rhinestone brad. I also ran the gold leafing pen around the tops of the cones for definition. When they were done, I punched a 1/8 inch hole in one cone to put the thread through for hanging. I have a few pictures but I can't figure out how to post them in this comment. My ornaments measure ~ 4 inches across.
