This is my first publication! It's an online bonus project in the new December/January issue of Papercrafts, bottom of page 81. The larger featured card on the same page is Debbie Olson's gorgeous Kinkade Silent Night card.
This window effect is created by using my version of the faux tile technique. Here's how I made this card:
Stamp the Village Christmas image (available at: http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/kinkade.php ) on white cardstock using Stazon Ultramarine, then do some shading with the blender pen and Brilliant Blue pigment ink.
Place a brass grid stencil over the colored image. I used only part of the stencil, masking off the rest of the squares (and securing it) with removable tape. Dry emboss the image.
Keeping the stencil in place, cover the exposed sections of the image with the Versamark pad. Remove the stencil, cover with clear embossing powder and heat emboss.
To create the "grout," color the unembossed areas around and between the embossed squares with a Night of Navy marker. Trim closely around the image, leaving about a 1/8 inch border.
To finish the card, cut a square piece of Shimmery White cardstock approximately 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 (check width of tile panel), and trim the bottom with scalloped paper edgers. Adhere the tiled image and stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy, centered underneath. I used my stampa-ma-jig.
Attach eyelets and ribbon on each side of the sentiment. Layer onto Brilliant Blue cardstock with dimensionals. The Shimmery White card base measures 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.

Congratulations on being published Linda. This lovely scene by you is so deserving of being published. It looks so wintry looking out that window, and the blue colors make it so real looking. You have created a beautiful view to share.
