I had a tough time with this sketch...I really wanted to use an image stamp as I am in a coloring mood lately...I just didn't want to use *It's Snow Time* again...it's my only winter set, so I feel like I am always using it...
Being I wanted to make a holiday card, I pulled out Happy Everything, which I haven't used in ages...I forgot how much I love this set...so versatile.
My color scheme was inspired by a gorgeous set of coffee mugs I saw on my daily run to Starbucks today (OK...it was my second run of the day, but who is counting, LOL). I thought they made a cool combo for a non-traditional holiday card.
I stamped the Cool Caribbean in versamark with Snow Burst, and embossed with white embossing powder. I love the look of the white on the Cool Caribbean. After stamping the *happy* and *holidays* panels, I embossed them with clear embossing powder. I wasn't too happy with how the red changed color, almost to an *orange-y* red, but it still works.
**A special thanks to my bff, Mrs. Noodles, for rescuing me and bringing me some Whisper White into work today...can't believe I ran out of that!!**
Thanks for a great challenge, and as always, thanks so much for looking!! Your comments always make my day!!
