Several of you have pm'd me for directions, so here you go:
I stamped on a piece of acetate with jet-black staz-on, then colored the front side with Sharpies. I put a thick layer of crystal effects on the back side of the acetate with a good layer of dazzling diamonds. Dried overnight. I then rolled up the glittered acetate (with the glitter on the inside so as not to scrape it off when putting it inside the ornament) and put it inside of the ornament. I used a 67mm round glass ornament from Michaels. I use Arnold Grummer's iridescent flakes for the snow (found in the handmade paper section of the craft store), and also added a few iridescent stars to make it more interesting. I recently found a great tutorial here, which will be of great help to you. It really helped my customers to go over step-by-step instructions using this tutorial after I taught an ornament class: http://famezo.blogspot.com/2007/10/g...-tutorial.html
Have fun! Beth
