At first, I was thinking I was going to have trouble finding something. Ha, ha. The first thing I thought of was my mat pack. I had a paper piercer but no way to do straight lines of piercing so I bought that after seeing so many lovely ways to do piercing.
Then I went looking at stamp sets. Oh, yeah...Happy Harmony. Yeah, missed it on SAB last year so I wound up chasing it (and another set that SCS showed me I needed) on the 'bay for weeks. Do you think I'd used it yet?? Duh! So that came out. The reason I loved it so much was I immediately thought of my personal coach when I saw the Gandhi quote and I've been meaning to do something with it for her for months. Now I had my recipient in mind (always easier for me to create with one in mind).
I also have these mini composition books that I had no idea existed until I saw them on SCS. I snapped up 4 (why only 4?!? I always show restraint at the wrong times! LOL) at back to school time when I saw them at the grocery store. I've had one of them with some DP sitting here since the last VSN mini because I made one that night and had every intent of getting another one done.
Then I saw my bottle of Prima's. They are so pretty and all SCS's fault! LOL I struggle to use them for some reason but there are 6 between my little book and the accompanying card.
For a girl who really, really tries not to run out and buy every new toy, I didn't have a whole lotta trouble finding stuff to use! LOL I still have a long wish list of more expensive items but these were some of the items SCS has inspired me to choose.
