I was just playing around trying to figure out how to make an Origami Tree (not sure exactly where I found the directions, but it was from here on Split Coast- thank you I folded my tree using SU patterned paper and added a tree trunk. I stamped Merry Christmas from AYC set and embossed with gold embossing powder. I used Old Olive and Ruby Red card stock. This card wasn't too hard to make, but I certainly won't be making these for Christmas this year- I felt they were very time consuming,. Thanks for looking.
I wasn't happy with the picture I had before * so I am editing this with, hopefully a nicer picture of my origami tree card.

The picture I took of this card did not come out that great, but the card looks better in person. I searched and found the link for the directions to make this card. Thanks for looking.

thanks - I think I'll try this - but uh, you said you won't be making them this year? Is that because it was time consuming?? It turned out fantastic, I really like it.

I should have put the reason why I wouldn't make them for my Christmas cards this year...sorry about that. Well the fold wasn't too complicated, but it takes some time folding and I just felt it was a bit time consuming seeing that I make about 50 Christmas cards. I discovered that it helped to keep the paper in place if I used glue dots..oh and a bone folder- make sure you use your bone folder, it helps with the folding. Thanks for looking.
