I'm quite proud of my scallops if I do say so!
For the little frames that have the scallops on the 'inside' edge, I cut a rough circle just big enough for me to get in there with my 3/8-inch circle punch, then I punched the scallops from the inside (does that make sense?).
For the pieces that are scalloped on the outer edges, forget trying to do it with an Exacto knife. I traced and then cut with scissors. Because the On Board pieces are not perfectly symmetrical, I always make a pencil-mark at the top of the piece and the top of the paper. Then when I'm done cutting, I match up the marks. This is really helpful when covering the snowflakes with paper or cardstock because each arm is slightly different.
And remember to put the chipboard face-down on the wrong side of the paper. Learned that the hard way....
