Sunday is Veteran's Day and I made this quick card for a relative that served 2 tours of duty in Iraq and is now home safe and out of the military. A new Vet. I used a paper cutter from Creative Memories to make the red stripes and I see one of them is quite crooked. Guess that part is waving more. Have a great day and TFL

I too love your card. It looks like old glory is flying high.
I have two son's that one did two tours of duty to Iraq.
He is a Marine. First in last out. He is home safe and sound.
The other son is in the Army he did 1 year over there in Iraq.
He too is home safe and sound. But is heading back there next year. WE are hopping he will not have to. Wishful thinking on my part I think. But a Mom and wish, hope and pray. That they don't have to go back Can't She?
My husband is also a vet. I made both the boys a card.
And one of the Marine for the Marine Corps B-Day on Saturday. Thank God for our men and women for being here to keep us and our country free.
Mahalo for the inspiration ! This is such a beautifully made card. I may just scrap-lift your creativity if you don't mind. Providing I can locate that stamp set or use My for your country set. My grandson just enlisted so I need lots of ideas because I want to send him many cards to thank him. Maybe even some to his buddies there as well. I also had a son who never made it back from Iraq. Again mahalo much for the idea and inspiration!! MMFS
P.s this has been added to what I call my high ho into my fav this goes list.
