Yeah! My first MFT challenge! I had so much fun with this, what a great sketch!
I just had to use my How Sweet It Is set, I got it a couple of weeks ago and haven't had the chance to use it yet. I wanted to use the "lady", but it was just too big for the center diamond...oh well. My card is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. I used close to cocoa cs for the card base and mat for the center diamond. I used sage shadow for the four square panels. I stamped the chocolate chips bg on the sage shadow panels in close to cocoa (I stamped the close to cocoa off once before stamping on the sage shadow). I then ran the panels through my cuttlebug- to add a little texture and dimension. I used the giga and mega scalloped square punches for the center diamond. The image panel as up on mini pop dots. The sentiment is stamped on very vanilla in versamark and then embossed with sage ep. The large all chocolate "kisses" were stamped on a seperate piece of vv cs in versamark and then embossed with dark brown ep. I watercolored them in with the Aqua Painter and close to cocoa classic ink. The large "hugs" were stamped directly on the vv panel in chocolate chip ink and the close to cocoa stripes were added with the Aqua Painter. The tabs were made with the SU large oval punch, from close to cocoa and very vanilla cs. I then added the primas (IRL they are perfect matches for the cocoa and sage) with antique brass brads for the centers.
I had a ton of fun with this sketch and can't wait to do another! Thanks for looking!
