The living room in our rental is painted a dark, muddy, dark green -- did I mention it's dark? I'm on a mission to cover as much of that awful dark colour up, and this project is part of that mission.
The base is a foam core board I got for cheapcheap from Michaels. I absolutely loved the orange tissue paper I bought for my jar-o-lantern project and wanted to see that colour longer than just for Hallowe'en, so I used it for the base colour layer. I punched out ~80 mega and giga plain circles from a variety of orange, pink, and yellow patterned papers using my Marvy punches and Strongarm punching aid. This took about three hours from start to finish (including my punching time). Royal Coat decoupage medium was used for all adhering and as a sealant.
This baby is going to hang in the corner of our living room and hopefully distract everyone from the awful avocado-green 1970s inverted funnel fireplace. Thanks for looking!

Inverted funnel fireplace? Sounds like what we had before my husband lost it and tore it out. Now there's some drywall hanging there, unadorned. Still a huge improvement.
Love your orange and pink circles board!
