It's taken me a while to finish my card for the breast cancer awareness challenge. I lost a sister to ovarian cancer and almost lost my other sister to breast cancer. I hope someday this awful disease in all its forms will be a distant memory.
PS: I thought I'd resubmit this for the dahlia challenge TLC153 even though this was made a while ago.

I didn't have any directions -- I had just seen it in a magazine, but after I posted my first card with it, some people wanted directions too. Over in the technique forum I asked if anyone had any instructions and someone found a link at http://www.cardsandcrafts.freeservers.com/dahlia.html
This is beautiful. I must have missed your first card, because this is the first time I have seen this technique. It looks like it would take a while to do. Very Pretty.

Thanks for the link to instructions! It looks like you used two sizes of circle punches to make a circle frame, then adhered that to mulberry paper and trimmed to form your circles. I'm going to have to try this, but I think I'll start out with just plain circles!!! You made another beautiful card here!!! I like your folding techniques!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

This is beautiful! I am going to have to try this technique. I agree--I hope that a cure for cancer will be found soon. Too many of my friends and family have had it.
