What a wonderful and heartfelt challenge! For the 100th Inspiration Challenge, we were to make card inspired by someone for that someone.
My card was inspired by my friend Beth! She is the one who got me started with scrapbooking and cardmaking. My first SU party was at her house! Beth is my very best friend, we can- and do- talk about everything. She cheers me up when I need it and lets me vent to her. I wanted to make a card that was bright and upbeat, but a little girlie at the same time. There were a few elements that I wanted to include, because they are things she used in her cards or things she introduced me to.
I used heat embossing on the scalloped border over the dp and on the certainly celery because Beth was the one who showed all about the technique and how cool it is. I wanted to use the eyelets because she always finds a way to work a little hardware into a card, and it always looks so cute!
I just want to say thanks to Beth for being the greatest friend a person could ask for and for getting me started on this crazy, crafty road- it really is what is keeping me sane!
Thanks Karen for the fabulous challenge and I hope you all like my card for Beth! Thanks for looking!

Beth is sure to recognize your thoughtfulness with the elements you chose for her. Like the vertical DP with the scallops and dots. Pretty colors too! TFS your design and story.
