This didn't start out to be cracked glass, but that's the way it ended up. Or maybe these surfboards were waxed one too many times and the wax just cracked. Lucky break that the tech is cracked glass today. The card is for my nephew who just happened to be born in Hawaii.
I stamped the scene on white c/s and colored with markers, the drew a border around it with the markers. I stamped the surfboards and colored them with markers. I cut them out then applied a couple of coats of dimensional glaze (which cracked when I attached them to a piece of yellow c/s.)
The boards didn't stand out enough when put up against the scene, so I added a piece of ivory vellum on top of the scene to mute it and separate it a little from the boards.TFL

What a great idea to use the vellum to make those boards pop! Love it.The bright colors really say Hawaii. Anne.
