Today's challenge was to use the Cracked Glass technique. I have tried this technique once before and really liked it, but wasn't sure if I could duplicate the effect again. I have just regular embossing powder (not the real thick stuff) and my embossing skills are rather limited, but ever the optimist, I thought I would give it a try.
Here is how it came together:
1. Stamped the arbor from Woodland Cottage and masked it, then stamped the cottage.
2. Watercolored the image using re-inkers.
3. Embossed with clear EP about 4 times, allowing to cool a little between coats.
4. Left in the freezer for about 10 minutes, and then had fun cracking every which way.
5. Sponged cracks with brown ink, then wiped with paper towel to remove excess.
I really like the way it turned out. TFL.
