This card was designed for my month as hostess of our monthly card swap. I thought this image would be a good 'intro' to House Mouse for stampers who had never worked with these critters. It's a little small by itself, though, so I originally thought of CASEing a bookmark card from some of the great examples here on SCS. Then I realized it would be even more appropriate to make it an ornament (or gift tag), given the theme.
The color combo was based on the DP which I just couldn't resist. It will fun to see what each person creates with the same image and DP!
Stamps: HM 'Having a Ball', Stampendous 'Wishes Come True', Paisley BG.
Paper: Cranberry Crisp, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Imaginesce DP 'Candy Cane Lane'.
Ink: Black stazon, versamark.
Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, turpenoid, white detail EP, flocking, CE, SU scallop punch, circle cutter, gold cording, Cranberry Crisp stitched grosgrain ribbon.
Technique: gamsol magic.

Very cute!! I love your colors and scallops are my new favorite on cards. The gold cord really makes it look like an ornament, too! Great job on a lovely card. You will have to keep us informed as to what the other cards look like. Do you get their's back then when you swap? I have never done a swap like that.

What a great card Jessica!! I love that strip of striped paper :-) Did you use white craft ink or white embossing powder for the sentiment?? It really stands out, awesome!! And your coloring is great, like always! TFS
