This is for Beate's weekend sketch. I was very pleased with the way it turned out.
The big square and flower are chipboard. I traced them onto this beautiful BasicGrey Fruitcake dp, cut them out and adhered the dp to the chipboard with Mod Podge. When it was dry, I sanded the edges and inked up the edges with Cranberry Crisp ink and a sponge.
The card base is Whisper White. The next layer is dp from the Fruitcake collection. It's actually the other side of the pretty red and white dp. (The edges of both the card base and dp layer are sponged with Cranberry Crisp ink.) I put some gemstones on the chipboard pieces and stamped the sentiment with the aid of my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for perfect alignment.
So, what do you think? TFL - Regina
