I made this using Shadow Mill's tutorial. She is a genius!
I cuttlebugged the vellum cardstock and the blue (I don't know why it looks silver in the pic) shimmery DCWV paper with the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. I also used the 1" circle punch to punch out a snowflake from my vellum scraps, and I centered that on a blue 1.25" circle. I attached the snowflake layers with a blue Ice Circle Rhinestone brad. The snowflake is attached to the card with a pop-up glue dot. The card base is Whisper White cardstock.
I had so much fun with this! Thanks to Donna for sharing her brilliant idea!

Aww, shucks, thanks girl! I loved the way you used the CB for the inside of the star and the same for the background. There isn't a lot of room to work with inside those points and yours looks beautiful!!
