I made this baby memory box for a coworker, who is having her first child any minute. The container is an empty oatmeal container and is sprinkled with baby powder. (I spent all my money on stamps). The yarn is Patons Allure from Michaels with a coupon. The poem is from SCS gallery-Anything but a container. It reads:
Baby books are a great idea
But sometimes youÂ’re to busy.
Living with a little one
Can put you in a tizzy.
Milestones pass to fast at times
To find the proper page
So, jot a note of each event
With date and babyÂ’s age.
“Baby took 3 steps on April 3rd”
Or “first tooth December 5th”.
Then drop it in this memory box
So that you can remember!
A big thank you to the stamper who posted the poem. These are BIG at baby showers and craft fairs. I always tell the mother to be to put all her notes in the box and complete the book when baby goes to college. Thanks for looking.
