This is for the MFT sketch challenge MFTSC1 and I'm sneaking it in a little early for the Oct 20 MFTOCT07 celebration for MFT. I'm killing two birds with one stone with this card and having fun just playing in the challenges this week. I haven't gotten to do challenges for several weeks. Yeah!
This card is made with Home for the Holidays. I love Christmas cards and thought this sketch was perfect for the images in this set. I stamped the tree in wasabi on vanilla cardstock and then used the little pine bough image to fill it in to create a full tree. I did the same with the wreath across the top of the fireplace. I used a gold pen to create the garland and ribbon and then used glitter glue for the red ornaments/berry thingys. I colored the base of the tree and the star with the gold pen as well. After I punched out my circle sentiments I colored around them with the gold pen and then added glitter glue to them and got carried away and started adding it to the garland and bow as well. I can just never seem to stop when it comes to glitter glue. More is always better....isn't it? I colored the Santa legs with a red marker and covered them with glitter glue, did the shoes with my black glaze pen and used a little liquid applicque for the fur lining on the boots.

Fabulous card! I love the way you made the tree look so full! Thanks for the detail instructions. Now maybe we mere mortals can attempt to replicate it! LOL!
