Well...it's pink! This is my second card for today's color challenge. I wanted to make a get well card for my friend Beth, who is having surgery next week, and I thought the PINK challenge would be perfect. I feel bad that I can't be with her while she is recuperating, so I hope this will cheer her up! I used my cuttlebug to make the embossed background for the main panel of the card. I used very vanilla cs and sponged rose red ink over the embossing. For the long, vertical side panel I used the Scatter Sunshine jumbo wheel w/the Versamark pad and embossed with crystal clear ep. I then sponged pretty in pink ink over the image. The flowers in the bottom, horizontal panel are from Burst into Bloom. I stamped them onto pretty in pink and used the rock n' roll technique (its really hard to tell) with regal rose and rose red ink. I stamped them again w/rock n' roll on very vanilla cs, then adhered them to the first set of images w/ 3D mini pop dots slightly off to the right- to create a shadowed effect. I then placed a rhinestone sticker from Martha Stewart in the center of each flower. This bottom panel is adhered to the card w/3D mini pop dots. The top sentiment panel is pretty in pink paper stamped w/ the "Get Well Soon" sentiment in regal rose. All panels were matted w/regal rose cs. This was a fun card to make! Thanks for looking!
