First of all, thank you, Carolyn, for hosting this week's very wonderful LS challenge. Its one that touches all of us in some way. You're a peach!
Tina Russell of High Hopes Stamps is a very generous woman, and she is donating the proceeds from a special stamp in her catalogue that you can find here: http://www.highhopesstamps.com/catal...stamp_id=P-004 Cancer has affected her life too, and you can read her touching story here: http://www.highhopesstamps.com/about.htm
This card is for Mrs. Swain. I haven't met her, but I know of her through a friend who asked me to pray for her as she has cancer. I hope this card brings her a smile.
I used my Tombow markers to color and blended with a watercolor brush and water.
Inside I stamped, "If friends were apples, I'd pick you!".
The faux ribbon is textured pink cs. The flowers are punched, and the sewing lines and brads are done with a black gel pen. I sparkled up the bow in her hair with Prismaglitter, as well as her white socks.
Did the bg with an apple stamp colored with Tombow's and spritzed with water.
TFL!
