Well, I hope you're not sick of these stamps...it's the second upload today with them! Actually, I had stamped the Tres Chic background for the card I did earlier, then changed my mind and set it aside, so I decided that was where I would start tonight. I stamped the big flower in Chocolate Chip craft ink and embossed it with irridescent ice...it looks so cool IRL. Not being able to use my luscious satin ribbon was like having my hands tied, so my embellishments include paper piercing the middle strip, and I added some dots with the double circle punch..thanks for the idea Carolyn! I punched the sentiment out with the word window, then I took a 1/2" x 2" strip of paper, and rounded the corners to layer the sentiment.
I will send this card to Kim's friend; I sent Maddie a card earlier. Luckily, and knock on wood, there is no one near and dear for me to send it to. No cancer in my family today...only survivors. You go Mom!
