I knew as soon as I saw this color challenge that I wanted to use Stem Silhouettes. I love how this card turned out. The only stumbling block was that I don't have River Rock, but was able to substitute Sahara Sand. I was especially proud that I whipped this card out in 10 minutes!
I applied the Sahara Sand ink directly to the rubber with my marker. I stamped it twice on the Very Vanilla cs without reinking in between. I did this several times to add depth and shadow. I added my moon by inking up the circle from Little Shapes with Basic Gray, but stamped off twice on a scrap piece of paper before stamping the moon. I was going for a soft look since the card base (Basic Gray) is so dark. The grateful sentiment is stamped with Basic Gray.
That wonderful ribbon by BasicGrey matched everything so perfectly, so I just snipped off a piece and tacked it to the card base with some Sticky Strip.
So, what do you think? TFL - Regina
