I'm in another swap - this one is a Halloween theme (cemetary). So I thought I would try some of Martha Stewart's products available in Michael's.
The image is applied with black StazOn, and the moon is simply a circle mask. Orange dye ink whisked on. Martha Stewart's rubber stamps are not well made, but images are good. It was very difficult to get it to ink up. Had to scrub and sand off the silicone release agent, and the rubber is very hard and no cushion. Her little bat punch is very cute. Punch two, and sandwich wire in middle using terribly tacky tape - to really hold! Use tacky tape to adhere wire to back of card (twist around a pencil for spirals), and then use your name label on back to cover the tacky tape.
These really pop in real life.

I LOVE this! It is so creative, absolutely original, and a very good idea. I wish I was in the swap. I wanna be on your mailing list! This card is just perfect.

I have this same stamp, but I don't have the same complaints. I thought mine worked just fine. Though I found to get the dark black fence I wanted, I had to emboss it. Still, I think it's a great stamp - look at all the little details! I just love this scene you created.... and LOVE those little bats. Nice job!
