I LOVE this sketch! I'm still trying to knock out some sympathy cards for a friend. Does anybody but me have difficulties making sympathy cards?
I created the birdy image by coloring with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol then sponging lightly with So Saffron and Creamy Caramel inks around the edges and Creamy Caramel over the entire image. Also very lightly sponged ColorBox Merlot around outside edges. Then I applied the cracked glass technique. (Cover image with VersaMark ink, cover with Ultra-Thick Embossing Enamel and shake off excess, cover with clear detail embossing powder and shake off excess, melt with heat tool, then repeat entire process twice more.)
Barely Banana panel is stamped with Linen background in So Saffron ink. Stamped again very lightly with French Script background using ColorBox Merlot ink. Sponged edges lightly with Merlot ink and also sponged edges of designer paper and sentiment with Merlot.
