This will be a postcard, so everything is faux: buttons, hardware, string. This fake hardware is a set of unmounted cling stamps called "Hip Hardware" by The Angel Company.
This was the first time I used art masking fluid (masked the mushroom stems, the gnome's face, hair, hands, and the little flower) with watercolours! Next time, I will use it in a well-ventilated area!!
The fumes distracted me so badly that I forgot to mask the large flower, so I had to "lift" pigment from it instead.
Stamps: Knobbly Gnomes, Beeswax Rubber Stamps, TAC (The Angel Company), Stampington & Company ("bonjour")
Paper: Strathmore 140 lb cold press watercolour paper
Ink: Memories Black, Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy (for the "hardware" and sponging)
Accessories: sponge, 005 Micron pen (for the thread and shadows on the fake hardware), watercolours (Winsor & Newton, Grumbacher), Winsor & Newton art masking fluid

Wow, wow, wow! I have the Hip Hardware set and have hardly played with it. I guess I need to more to try and get the absolutely fantastic look and results you got. This is amazing! Absolutely love your work.
Forgot to add - thanks for the link on the mushroom stamp! That site has so many amazing stamps that are right up my stamping alley. Great for my stamping, not so great on my budget!
