Her first Halloween party in the new neighborhood. She'd made the martinis before anyone arrived and thought she'd better taste one to make sure they were okay. Hmmmm... She really liked those olives.
They came in right after this. She still hadn't any curtains on her windows and they saw the entire thing on their way up the walk!
Luckily they didn't like martinis. She served them some of that great Chianti she and Granny Gertz had yesterday... They would tease her for a long time after that, but she really DID fit in. It was an unusual neighborhood...
