I was going to use fabulous flowers, but Sharon made hers using that set so I decided to use this flower stamp called Blush by Penny Black. I inked the flower with purely pomegranate and always artichoke. I then spritzed the stamp with water and stamped onto watercolour paper. I spritzed 2 more times and stamped without re-inking. I distressed the edges using a thread ripper. I just bought this yummy ribbon from Michaels $1 bin and it matches PP pretty darn close. I pierced the opposing corners of the artichoke and the base of the card. This was fun Sharon! It took me longer to photograph and type up the description than to make the card! Oh yeah, the card measures 5 X 5.25. Thanks for a great challenge and thanks for looking!!
I am editing this to add todays LSC to use limited layers and embelishments. I used 4 layers and ribbon!! Thanks

I so love Penny Black - both her brush images and her cute ones!!! This is lovely! Love how you angled the the main image off centre, the lucious ribbon, and the paper piercing!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this card -- and I LOVE that stamp!!!! I actually have that stamp and haven't used it as much as I wish I had time to!!!! It is such a gorgeous image!!! It looks fabulous here in these colors, and I LOVE your layout, distressing and piercing -- a fabulous card -- who ever would for a minute think how quick and easy it really was!!!! Great job!!!
