The technique challenge for today was to make a 2,5, 7, 10 box. It's really easy if you follow Jenn Balcer's tutorial here on SCS.
I the only trouble I had with mine is that I used a crop-a-dile to punch my holes to keep it shut and I had to improvise to do the second set - I couldn't reach.
Plus, I didn't take into account the curve of the box when it's closed, so my image keeps popping off.
I chose to use Bordering Blue as my main color - stamped it with the Delicate Design wheel in Bordering Blue. I scalloped the edge of my flap with my corner rounder punch.
My main image is from My Favorite Things: You Take the Cake. It's stamped in Versafine black and colored in with prismacolor pencils. The pink was smudged with baby oil and blending stumps.
My sentiment is also from the same set. I stamped it in Certainly Celery and punched it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch. The Certainly Celery circle behind it was done with the 1 3/8" circle punch.
