I couldn't get the results I wanted using the tutorial for Tapestry (plus my white ink pad was turning blue), so I changed the technique to sort of a cross between that and faux dazzling diamonds. I used Classic inks to sponge the blues on the paper, then inked up the entire piece with VersaMark, stamped my little flourishy-thing with white ink, and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I made a bunch of these for my stamp club and used up a lot of my clear EP but that's ok.
I "borrowed" the layout from this beautiful card by notimetostamp: In Color Carte Postale by notimetostamp at Splitcoaststampers
So, I used the same stamp set and the same layout, but the rest of it is different For the Bonjour piece, I stamped the fleur de lis on Bashful Blue cardstock with white ink, and then stamped the word with Night of Navy on top of it.
