*this is the first card in a long while that has "flowed" for me - in other words, it came naturally rather than in way that felt like it was forced...i end up liking "flow" cards a whole lot better than forced ones.
*another first: wide grosgrain ribbon. i like it!
*i love this set and all the cute sentiments that go with it. but i definitely think "you float my boat!" is the cutest! "friend-ship" takes a close second. (just understand that this is a "cute" analysis, not any other aspect. ;D )
*see the silver lining on the smoke-puff "clouds"? i used some new toys my mom got to add shimmery detail - silver on the puffs and the anchor, red on the life-savers, and clear on all the lighter blue accents. they are "spica" pens...on the side of them it says "twinkling like stars!" so, naturally liking anything that twinkles, i like them. i wish you could see the clear sheen better in pictures...it's SO shimmery in real life!
*last, the heart is one of the small chipboard ones in the on board accents, i covered it with red paper and then scribbled glue all over it and dipped it in dazzling diamonds. i used a hobby knife to slit the top of the boat so the heart could be "in" it.
