This card was made for this weeks Technique Challenge - Make a little (gamsol) Magic. The challenge was to make a card using coloured pencils, gamsol and blending stumps. That was right up my alley as it is by and far my very favourite technique!
I used High Hopes stamp - Seal Puppy Love. I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it as my husband is Inuit and I just think it is sooo cute!
I used my Prisma's and gamsol with blender stumps to do the picture. I coloured in northern lights in the background and highlighted them with Dazzling Diamonds as well as the Inuit's fur on the hood and cuffs.
The punch I used on the coloured panel is a Fiskars 3 in 1 corner punch and is actually flowers but I thought it looked kind of icy so I decided to use it!. The background is done with SU! Stamp-around wheel - Twinkle.
I thought the sentiment from High Hopes was just too cute.
This card will probably be George's welcome home card when he gets back from Nigeria in Mid-October - what do you think?

You've done a beautiful job with the coloring on this card! I also really like how you've cut the picture so that the little Inuit's boots look like they are coming out of the picture. TYFS!
