I got this through Office Depot there is 72 slots. I wanted more so I could store all 48 colors, the specialty paper etc, and to have room to store my non SU paper (just a general blue, green red yellow slot) and to have 3 slots left to have the kids out their schoolwork that I want to keep until I feel like putting it in their binder.

It is one piece. The frame is wood (pressed wood) the slots are actually cardboard and they have the slots that you slide each piece into to put together. You have to build it yourself. WHich isn't that hard to do. Honestly I thought I was getting something different I thought for some reason it was all wood so I was a little disapointed, but it works for what I wanted. It was the cheapest one for the purpose I wanted and it only fits 8.5x11.
SO the 12x12 is in one of those file sorter things made for 12x12 the lid closes over it and it has a clasp. Dh said I couldn't get all of the 12x 12 cause I already have enough and I have to use what I have first and also I haven't worked on our scrapbooks in a looooong time!
