As I'm sure many of you are aware, the housing market is more than slow--it's molasses being poured on a cold winter's day. We had our house in OK on the market since October; it finally sold in July. Well, since late November we've been in Kentucky.
Our realtor, who conveniently lived 4 doors down from us, was vigilant with our house's upkeep. She coordinated the lawn guy, went by the house before showings to turn on lights, went back by afterwards to turn them off, SHOVELED ice & snow off our front porch, swept water out of our workshop area when OK City had the torrential rains this spring and early summer...the list goes on, but you get the gist of it.
She got her commission (less the broker's cut & the relo company's cut), but I wanted her to know what peace of mind she gave us knowing she did all that for us. So this is what I sent her.
The sentiment is handwritten by me (can't write completely straight...).
