I needed a b'day card for a well-loved friend, so I thought it would fit this challenge. I must confess that I don't exactly love this Wild Rose set, but I do LOVE this rose dp and it reminded me of the wild rose so that's why I used it. Besides, this set gives me trouble and I thought it would be good practice. And I LOVE my cuttelbug, and the new tafetta ribbon, the new basic gray cs, and stick pins, and circle punches. Lots of LOVE going on here ;)
To get the flower to match the dp, I first inked it in creamy caramel, then in cranberry crisp, then overstamped in the old baroque burgundy.
Thanks for looking!
ETA: I decided to send a different card to my friend for her b'day and sent this one to Maddy instead. If you don't know about Maddy read this thread: Forums at Splitcoaststampers

How beautiful! I love your colors, combined with that gorgeous DP, they are wonderful, quite an unusual combo, just so lovely with a homey old fashioned but trendy feel, really cool..
