My mom was having a colonoscopy done so wanted to make her a card that was fitting, she has a great sense of humor so wanted something funny.
I saw this card on here and thought it was so cute, it used a stamp set I don't have (I think sketch it was the one), so I decided to see if I could make it myself with things I had around. First for the hair I used my scallop oval punch, since my mom has curly hair. I sponged the creamy caramel with close to cocoa ink and then used various brown colors of colored pencil to give it a look similar to hair. For the background of the card I used the CHF backgrounder rice paper, since I wanted it to look like wall paper, then over that I stamped the flower from fresh fillers. I had to make my own template for the gown, since I couldn't find one to print out. I took the general shape from the picture of the one someone else had done and sized it for my card. The cardstock used had a slight pattern on it, I think I got it from Walmart long ago when I was doing stuff other then stamping, but since it reminded me of a hospital gown I used it, then stamped the swirls on it from fresh fillers also. The white piece is suppose to represent the table that you sit on.
For the rear end I made a template out of regular paper first, cutting it in a heart shape, then cut that out of blush blossom paper. I sponged the blush blossom paper with some apricot appeal to give it some color. The bandaid was made from the mini mates set. I stamped it on creamy caramel then clear embossed it.
On the inside of the card, per my husbands request I put, "Growing old sure is a pain in the @ss!" My mom said she loved the card and laughed so hard!

Hi there! for some reason I can't see the Hospital Gown.
I'm sure its hilarious just like the other card you put up here today for your mom. That I ask if you could email me the pattern and how you made it. How about sending me the same for the gown as well. I can always use a good laugh too.
And I know that the one's that I would send it to would too.
Thanks again.
