Here's another card I made to demo at our Stampers' 6 Club meeting. We have some fairly new stampers, but want to show them how to do masking. When my demo asked me to come up with a couple card ideas, I never realized how many retired SU stamp sets I have! Serene Sunflowers isn't the easiest stamp set for masking, but I really don't think the group will have a problem doing this one (especially if I provide the mask! ha! ha!).
The white card stock was cut for a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. I cut off approximately two inches at the bottom of the top panel. I stamped my images and then tore the edge and sponged with Garden Green. The flowers were stamped in Summer Sun and More Mustard. I then used my Really Rust wcc and blender pen to darken the center rim of the flower. I used the little dotted stamp from Petal Pushers to stamp Really Rust over and around the flowers. The More Mustard panel was stamped with Aida Cloth and the true friends sentiment and then glued to the white top layer.
I think I'm falling in love with More Mustard!
