This cone table decoration was inspired by Shelli's home decor demonstration at convention. I am going to have this be a project at an upcoming stamp camp.
To make it, I used a 6x6x piece of very vanilla CS. I stamped a collage of leaves using Autumn fest in pumpkin pie, wild wasai, more mustard and really rust. I stamped the dots using close to cocoa and Itty Bitty backgrounds. I stamped the acorn inside with close to cocoa and lightly sponged really rust on the inside as well
To assemble, punch 1 corner using the 1" punch. THis will be the bottom of the cone. put sticky strip on the side that will be on top when its folded over. Fold it into a cone, making sure the top edge aligns. Trim any uneven part off the bottom edge
I used wide choc chip grosgrain, and the narrow mustard and pumpkin pie grosgrain for the edging. I measured the piece of ribbon needed for the edgeing, and cut , then covered it with snail. Starting at the peak in the back I adhered the ribbon all the way around, overlapping in the back. Trim any excess. Repeat with the narrrow ribbons.
The tag is from Country Blessings. I stamped by just markering with close to cocoa the part of the sentiment I wanted and stamped on very vanilla. I punched out with the Key Tag punch and sponged really rust on the edges. I attached it with some pumpkin pie ribbon.
